I wanted to share some updates and clarify where we currently stand with bringing Pro Kettlebells to Europe, Switzerland, and the UK.
Even though I’m still all in, this process has been taking longer than I’d like, I remain fully committed to making it happen.
1. Negotiations Are Progressing
After navigating several hurdles since last summer, Nikolai and me finally reached an agreement a few weeks ago.
However, there are still formalities to address, including quality control and bulk pricing.
2. Stock Challenges
As many of you know, Pro Kettlebell stock has been limited since April 2024.
Currently, Pro Kettlebell must fulfill a significant backlog of pre-orders before delivering the 400 units needed to kick off the EU/CH launch.
Nikolai’s latest estimate is 6–8 weeks, but please understand this timeline is subject to change.
3. Differences in Work Ethic
Nikolai and I have different approaches to business, which can sometimes make collaboration challenging.
One issue I’ve raised is that customer support can sometimes slip through the cracks due to how stretched Nikolai and Amber are.
I’ve shared these concerns with Nikolai.
The Upshot
At its core, the main challenge is stock availability.
If we had steady inventory, we could’ve launched Pro Kettlebell EU/CH last year.
I remain fully committed to bringing Pro Kettlebell to Europe, and my goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible.
I’m having my next meeting with Nikolai next week and will provide further updates as soon as possible.
